  1. Hi, great radio station, love your music. I listen to you from “the other side of the world”. I live in south Germany. 😃 keep on playing your music!
Greetings from Germany and happy new year

  2. Great job with the station. Song selections are right on! Keep up the great work. Greetings from Ohio in the United States!

  3. Just found you yesterday, a very pleasant discovery. Brilliant music, minimum talk just what I like.
Listening in the Yorkshire Dales in England. You have a new believer!

    1. Hi Leonie

Thanks for the compliment. The station has been going since 2011 on both FM (low power) and web so you can get it on all web devices including phones. You will be hearing a lot more about Spellbound shortly when we open a Record Store here in Gisborne. Watch out for The Spellbound Wax Company opening soon.

  5. I was in your radio-station/music-store yesterday Fri-20/07/2018. Very friendly atmosphere & great alternatives to the mainstream.

  6. Spellbound is the Home of the Blues in New Zealand. Not only do they play fabulous music but they support terrific artists. We are proud and please to be played on this premier station. Thank you, Deane. Love from Annee of Annee 2CU Blues Band – Titirangi, Auckland, NZ.

  7. Hi, my best wishes for the new year from Germany to the other side of the globe. By listening to your station I’ve found so many great artists I haven’t known before. Fewweeks ago I visited a concert of Ainsley Lister, who I heard on your station for the first time. Thanks a lot and keep on goin’…

  8. Hello from Germany
thank you so much for becoming a part of the audience of your broadcast.
The globalized world has brought us together.
but it is so satisfying to note that not even big data monsters like shazam are capable of naming all the music you play.
Getting to know Spellbound wax and gisborne might one day be the reason to travel to your beautiful country and say hello.
until then i enjoy your music and am happy every morning about the surprise when switching on the radio.

    please remain infected!!!

      1. Great station! I found it through radio.garden, am listening from the USA. Brilliant music selections!

Thanks for the play list- you have a lot of enjoyable artists that I don’t know, so putting a name to the band and music is nice. It would be nice if the link was on the first page of website that radio.garden links up with (perhaps it is here, but somehow is not displayed in my region?)

  9. I still am completely bummed that this station is no longer. I mean I am grieving big time. I listened from the U.S. and can say the you WERE the best in the entire world. The selections and timing were unmatched anywhere. Please, someone resurrect this jewel of a radio station.
Surely some remnants of it exists somewhere.

    1. Oh Mark you are such a nice person… I simply could not continue the station as the annual costs were getting to be a burden and my health is failing. I very much appreciate the comments though. I am in the process of closing down my Vinyl Record Store and once that has happened and if I can find a way I could perhaps stream again in some small way… we shall see… but don’t hold me to that.
